My name is Dr. Harland and I mentor doctoral students at Walden University through the dissertation process. My interest has long been working along side of students as they complete research. My book, STEM Student Research Handbook is geared to helping high school and undergraduates through a research project. I now work with doctoral students to support them in their terminal degree (why does that sound so final? Learning is ongoing…but I digress). My hope is that this blog is a place where I can support students moving through the dissertation process. It can be a lonely journey, but it doesn’t have to be that way! Join us!
